German producer Tom Cloud has had a fast rising career ever since Tiësto picked up his tracks to his In Search Of Sunrise 6 and 7 compilation...
:: Original Mix :: Radio Edit
Last year saw the release of his debut album ‘A New Day’, and with remixes for artists like Adam Nickey, Tenth Planet, Leama & Moor, Jo-han Gielen and DJ Observer & Daniel Heatcliff, and releases on labels like Solaris, In Trance We Trust, Anjunabeats and A State of Trance there’s no doubt Tom is a well known name know on the international dance scene. Now he’s back with a new release on the In Trance We Trust imprint, this time with a inter-pretation of the classic anthem ‘C-Sharp’ originally released under the name The Quest back in 1999, and is written/composed by Benno De Goeij, one half of Rank 1.
Now over 10 years after the original release saw the daylight, Tom has done, what I think, is an absolutely fantastic ‘makeover’ of this great classic, with those well known and characteristic synths, violin sounding strings and melodies, that you just recognize the moment they’ll hit your ears. Tom adds his own signature sound, FX’s, melodies and a lovely pounding bassline that just fits lovely into the original parts!
Conclusion:
All in all an absolutely fantastic interpretation, that I think surely can and will go down and do a massive impact anywhere it’s played.
