Menno De Jong is calling time on his Intuition brand to move onto to pastures new in 2012. He is by no means walking away from music, quite the opposite, but the Intuition label, radio show and events have run its course...
All good things must come to an end as they say and as the clock ticks over to mark the New Year in a few days time it will be the end of Intuition Recordings. Menno De Jong has decided to call time on his very own label, radio show and events to retire what has become a trance music established brand. This is by no means Menno walking away from dance music but quite the reverse as he looks forward to a brand new radio show, new singles and a début artist album next year. You won't be short of Menno De Jong but sadly the Intuition brand is no more. The question that I pose with a little smirk is simply this; has he signed up with Armada? Only he knows but he did release the following statement about the demise of Intuition on his official website. Dear friends,
I would hereby like to inform you that effective December 31st I will put a full stop behind the Intuition label, events and radio brand.
The past eight years I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing great things and meeting wonderful people that I will never forget. But keeping such a machine running is by no means an easy task. Life is short, and we all need to choose carefully how we spend the time that we have. I’ve thought long and hard about where I want to go in the future and the most important thing for me is to write music that positively influences people’s lives.
In 2012 you can expect a new monthly radio show and podcast, lots of gigs and my first artist album. As they say… every end is a new beginning.
Thank you for everything, and hope to see you soon.
Love,
Menno.
