What will 2012 bring for Solarstone you many wonder? Well, going on this year’s audio delivery I’d expect you can have more of the same and then some! With his last artist album ‘Touchstone’ still doing very well he’s produced a music video for another one of its off spring. ‘The best way to make sure dreams come true is to wake up’, a track title that could not be more true and one now which has a visual back down of which you can check in his final update of 2011. Santa Solarclaus has dug deep into his sack and has pulled out what might very well be the best gift you get for Christmas this year. Last month we told you about Rich's dance floor re-point of 'Video Games' - the debut single from the almost impossibly sultry Lana del Ray. Well as a 'thank you' for all your support throughout the last 12 months, from Christmas Eve Rich will be giving away his A&B and Gabriel & Dresden-hammered (and DJ Mag-applauded) remix away through via Facebook fanpage. Solarstone 'The Best Way' Official Video

Competing in last year's longest song title category, 'The Best Way To Make Your Dreams Come True Is To Wake Up' was a winner right out of the gate! Now the wistful whim of the 'Touchstone' album track has taken on a video dimension, with the official video going online last week. Watch Rich sing 'Best Way' from the rooftops accompanied by a lovely young lass in a leotard, by pointing your mouse here and hitting that click!

Solarstone Remixes Orkidea's 'Unity' + Trends On Twitter

With their 'Slowmotion II' co-production burning up the cooler floors over the last month, Orkidea and Solarstone have been enjoying the fruits of a different production dynamic throughout December. Richard has remixed 'Unity' – one of the last great 'undiscovered' trance classics – and it's been raising some incredible levels of heat! Armin dropped Solarstone's Pure Remix on ASOT 535 and pushed the track into supernova. Fans sent the social media channels haywire, to such a degree that 'Orkidea Unity' began trending worldwide on Twitter. Not yet heard what the fuss is about? Hey, no time like the present!

North Meets South: Digital Society and MoS Gigs In Jan.

UK-based club citizens, you've got two prime opportunities to catch Solarstone doing that thing he does behind the turntables next month. On the 20th of January he'll be Leeds-bound to play that temple 'o trance Digital Society. A week later and he's in the capital at Ministry of Sound, playing alongside the likes of Gareth Emery and Daniel Kandi, rocking The Gallery's mainroom. So two dates for your new Clubbers Diary 2012 (which fingers crossed your mum is covering in bright shiny wrapping paper this very moment!). !

Federation 'Innocent Desire'

The second Federation single 'Innocent Desire' is out now via Paul Oakenfold's on-fire Perfecto Flouro label. Richard Mowatt and Ben Lost's killer sophomore single (complete with some very fine reworks from Nick Sentience and Phil Tailor) is on general release and yours to pick up through Beatport, iTunes or any digital download store worth their salt & pepper. Orkidea 'Unity' (Remixes)
Solarstone, as devoted an Orkidea fan as you could ever hope to find, was delighted to turn his remixing hand to one of his all-time favourite tracks, and his 'Pure' mix is, in Orkidea's own words, "one of Solarstone's best ever remixes". Solarstone's 'Pure' trance sound focuses on the raw ingredients of the perfect trance record; groove, melody & emotion delivered with pristine refined production. His remix of 'Unity' has all the hallmarks of that classic Solarstone sound we all know and love. Fellow Fin Allende deepens proceedings a touch with a more mellow progressive trance mix for those lazy evenings and earlier sets.

Dmitry Globa 'La Aurora Boreal'
La Aurora Boreal is the work of Ukranian producer Dmitry. The track is gorgeous downtempo soundscape, rolling cut up breaks and percussion underpin the lush pad and piano layers, and later on some warm bubbling synths filter up and wash over the listener.

Gosh 'Burn It Away'
Russian producer gosh has previous releases on Songbird, Ask4 and Tripomatic. 'Burn It Away' is a twisted tough techy trance record, jagged percussion loops and piercing synth lines are the main flavor.

Jahawi - From Narobi To London
'Nairobi To London' is a beautiful melodic trance track produced by Kenya's finest - Jahawi (previous releases on Southern Fried, Insatiable, Solaris). Taken from Solarstone's Electronic Architecture 2 album, the track is deliciously understated progressive trance music at its finest, sweeping pads and sparkling melodies encased in sumptuous production.
