Having taken a look back at their favourite tracks from the 80's the Blank & Jones boys are moving forward a decade and digging out their favourite beats from the 90's...
Having the freedom of their very own record label has enabled Blank & Jones to get as creative as they like with their music. They have already re-released their original artist albums over the past year, with 'Substance' the last getting a re-master a few weeks ago. They may have been a little scarce on the production side of things and spend a bit to much time ‘chilling’ if you ask me, but one compilation series that has been a great success has been their so80s’s series. They dug out electronic delights from a decade that brought some awesome music. Six volumes gone and the 80’s audio banks have been very much exhausted as far as Piet Blank and Jasper Jones are concerned.
It’s time to move onto the 90’s, a time where they released some of their best material and a decade that brought some classic euro dance to the ears of folk all over the globe. Music from the likes of Snap, Felix, Baby D and KLF are sure top feature on the first volume due out in the next few weeks. The tracklist has yet to be announced but you can expect Blank & Jones to give each track on there a very extensive re-master. The first release I’m sure like the 80’s edition will spread onto quite a few volumes.
RELEASE DATE: 3rd March
