The electronic legend that is Moby is not quite finished with his last artist album 'Destroyed' just yet as later this month comes a two disc remix edition blended together by the man himself...
You never quite know what to expect when it comes to a new Moby album with his spread of electronic sounds and influences. The mood of his music is one which flutters from album to album as his creative path moves in different directions. His last artist album ‘Destroyed’ was simply superb and had a mix of everything within it but yet still having a Moby style engraved within.
The remix album is nothing new on the electronic scene, if anything it’s become somewhat compulsory and expected a few months after any big artist album release. With a Moby album though it’s something a little different as his spread of styles invites artists from various genres to put a take on his originals. The remix edition here features the likes of Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Holy Ghost, Amo Coast and the legendary Sasha. The physical release comes in two discs mixed by Moby featuring an exclusive 30 minute ambient track called ‘All Sides Gone’. There will also be a download option available with the CD release of all the remix singles from the album in full.
