With the support of Pete Tong, Roger Goode's dance-floor masterpiece has been doing the rounds recently with some top remixes...
This cool, melodic vocal trancer has worked its way to a chart position and european recognition by many DJs including: Paul Van Dyk and AJ Gibson - who coinsidently played it at Godkitchen's 'Italian Night' on Friday in his warmup set :)
On the Record we have:
A1: In The Beginning (FERRY CORSTEN EXTENDED MIX) B1: In The Beginning (GABRIEL&DRESDEN'S STEINWAY DUB) B2: In The Beginning (GABRIEL&DRESDEN'S ACAPPELLA)
A1: In The Beginning (FERRY CORSTEN EXTENDED MIX) "In the beginning" it starts off with that really well known tune (by now), and if you haven't heard this tune in a night club or even on the radio, you should really get out more !! Quality production.. totally revamped by Mr. Corsten... its gonna be big, both in Ibiza and in the charts.
B1: In The Beginning (GABRIEL&DRESDEN'S STEINWAY DUB) This is a really great tune, calm and chilled out, while still keeping a stomping dance-floor vibe. Josh Gabriel is well known for his sound of progressivey funky house/trance, with other productions such as: Wave 3, and now with this production under his belt, we are gonna see alot more from him and this duo this year...
B2: In The Beginning BEGINNING (GABRIEL&DRESDEN'S ACAPPELLA) This acappella is not just an acapella.. the vocals make a sweet chill-out tune which would go great at the beginning or the end of any set. Nicely sang by Tasha Baxter, her voice will be heard on many more tracks to come.
Conclusion
Ferry has created a stormer which has been produced well, but watch out for the Gabriel&Dresden versions as these will become the more catchier over time...
