When it comes to the progressive house sound there John Digweed is a true living legend of the genre and has pushed it through club environments all over the globe. Catch a taste of his live performance as he releases a three disc compilation from his appearance in Cordoba...
The first thing with this new release from John I’m sure you will want to know is, just where the hell is Cordoba? Well, its a little providence in the south of Spain with quite a bit of history attached to it. While I pretend not to know much about Geography I can be pretty certain that where ever you plonk John Digweed in the world he will set your musical palette alight with his progressive sounds. That’s what he’s been doing on a regular basis for the past twenty years and coming soon on his Bedrock label is a three disc compilation packing in his current live set sound direct to your front room, car stereo or into you MP3 player.
The new compilation features two mixes recorded live from a club night in Cordoba and a bonus third discs with full length tracks featured in the mix. I really like the live compilation release, irrespective of the genre as it just brings the tracks alive and if you weren’t there it’s the next best thing. While you sometimes need to be in the mood for the progressive beat this compilation from John should grab you whatever your current mind state. It’s out next week and well worth your hard earned pennies.
