It's time to get creative with the camera as Paul van Dyk offers you the chance to design the new cover for his next single taken from his latest artist album 'Evolution'...
You will be please to know Paul van Dyk is back on the road and fully recovered after illness struck last week causing him to cancel a few DJ dates. With the sound of his new artist album still ringing in many music lovers tabs across the globe the next new single to come from it is not very far away. He has already unleashed three singles from the album so far with ‘Eternity’, ‘Everywhere’ and ‘The Ocean’. It’s pretty obvious to see with the last two single release’s the cover artwork was lacking a little imagination. That’s all set to change as he wants you to use yours for the next release.
The cover competition is being run through design company Talent House and it will be Paul himself who will chose the final design for the cover. There are a few guidelines to follow before you submit your entry; it goes without saying nicking pretty pictures off Google won’t be accepted.
:: Participants may submit artwork or a photograph :: Submissions must be original and submitted in JPEG or PNG format and must not have been commercially used either before or during this Creative Invite :: Participants are advised to use the provided assets as inspiration for their artwork/photograph :: The winning design may be modified to suit production requirements :: If participants submit artwork, they must retain their original artwork should they be chosen as a winner :: If participants submit a photograph, the photograph must be original (meaning not using third party copyright materials) but can be pre-existing or created especially for this opportunity
You have until the 31st July to put your entries in which will then be subjected to a vote on the 1st August and 7th August. The shortlist from those votes will be passed onto Paul who will announce the winner on the 22nd August. The question is, what single will you be designing the cover for?
