Well known for tracks like: Excession and Nightstalker, Altitude is back with this uplifting masterpiece, with a remix from another great name in trance: S.H.O.K.K. !!
XTC Records have provided us with quality records over the last two years with artists such as: Fire&Ice, Sonic Inc, Sunscreem Vs. Push and Virtua Trancer (aka M.I.K.E), and now with this latest self-titled Altitude release.

The S.H.O.K.K. mix has been given first-class seats and has been put on the A-side rather than the B-side. This version is more uplifting than their previous works but still retains their hard as nails sound... Another fine production from the duo which gives many tunes released this year a run for their money !! This tune has a really uplifting and euphoric break-down which goes stops and the silence creates such a rush before it explodes into the sound that we love so much, a really, really recomended purchase for any DJ's record box.
B1. Altitude - Alitiude (Original Mix)
Altitude's unique style shines through again, uplifting with a great beat - yet keeping a chilled-out summer feeling throughout the track. This track reminds me of an Agnelli&Nelson track entitled 'Embrace' which did the rounds in 2000 and hopefully this will do the rounds this summer. The original is a great track to finish a decent trance set off - watch the people raise their arms and cheer as the break-down kicks in because this is one powerful and emotive mutha !!
Conclusion:
Both remixes really appealed to my liking, and it's too hard to choose the best one, because they are so brilliant for different reasons... Get it while you can!
