Running over six days in far north Queensland just hours from tropical beaches and lush rainforests this will undoubtedly be one of the most talked about events of the decade. Earth Stage The Earth Stage is at the heart of the festival site, situated by the lake, with it’s own beach frontage. It is the destination for live reggae, dub, world music, gypsy, electro swing, house, disco and all things in between!. The music and arts program has been carefully selected by the crews from Shine On, Island Vibe and Bushweek for your visual and auditory pleasure!

Chill Temple Presented by Resonant Temple from Byron Bay the Chill Temple will be a full production stage within a sacred geometry lotus temple. After the hugely positive response from their first Australian tour in 2011, the Eclipse2012 team are so happy to welcome international visionary artists Alex Grey & Allyson Grey back to Australia for an exclusive appearance at Eclipse2012. The Greys will be present at the festival to display their magnificent works of art, in addition to engaging our community in artist presentations and live painting. This special occasion also marks the official Australian launch of Net of Being, Alex Grey’s first book in 10 years!

The event site is normally an expansive (500 sq miles) cattle station and pictures from the Eclipse2012 website suggest a very authentic location with natural raw views stretching out across an undulating tree covered landscape.
