 24 year old Dutch DJ, Hardwell, has reached the #6 position in the world’s most famous DJ list, The DJMag Top 100...
The ranking, announced at the DJ Mag Top 100 Awards Show last night during the Amsterdam Dance Event, makes him one of the chart’s fastest climbers ever. Last year he entered the industry-defining list for the first time in the well-deserved #24 spot.
Hardwell said, “I seriously never expected to get into the top 10 of the DJMag Top 100. I am so thrilled and excited! I really want to thank all my fans for voting. I’m incredibly grateful to have so many people supporting me, so a big shout out to all of you, THANK YOU SO MUCH!”
The extraordinary DJ and producer, better known as Robbert van de Corput, has become one of the most distinguished artists to watch in recent years. His track ‘Spaceman’ topped the dance charts worldwide and became one of the most played tracks of the year. He has collaborated with Tiësto resulting in the hit record ‘Zero 76’ and has done remixes for the likes of Rihanna and Taio Cruz.
Hardwell also manages his own record label, ‘Revealed Recordings’, runs an eponymous label night, ‘Hardwell presents Revealed’ and host a very successful radio show and podcast, ‘Hardwell On Air’. This show is broadcasted on 30 FM radio stations worldwide and has millions of listeners. The official Podcast for his show has been released last month and holds a strong position in the top 10 most downloaded Podcasts on iTunes in over 40 countries.
With performances all over the world from Sydney to Miami and Ibiza to London and headlining practically every major festival worldwide including Electronic Daisy Carnival (Las Vegas), Ultra Music Festival (Miami) and Tomorrowland. It is clear that Hardwell’s hard work has paid off and got him this exceptional #6 spot in the DJMag Top 100 list.
