After an amazing 2012 filled with highlights, North America’s leading figure for pure Progressive House, Darin Epsilon, will enter 2013 with a bang as he graces the Crystal Temple stage of White Wonderland in Southern California. Right when the clock hits midnight, he will perform for his biggest crowd yet at this massive production by USA's top promoter, Insomniac Events. The all-star lineup includes other hotshots like Avicii, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Bingo Players, Hardwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and more.
On the production front, Darin keeps raising the bar as well. His new track “Shine The Light” has been handpicked by legendary DJ Nick Warren to appear on his forthcoming mix album Renaissance presents Nick Warren - The Masters Series. This is not only Nick’s first compilation for the clubbing institution since 2001, but also his first full solo outing over two CDs for Renaissance.
Darin: “There aren’t really words to describe how special this moment is for me. I spent years and years working on music and finally achieved a long-term goal. On top of that, my track appears on a mix CD by two of my biggest musical inspirations.”
'Shine The Light' will be out January 28 on the Renaissance Masters compilation. Highlights from the album will be released by Hope Recordings in February 2013.
Darin's appearance at White Wonderland comes after a number of other high profile bookings in 2012. He rocked Nocturnal Wonderland, flew to Kenya for his first gig in Africa and had the privilege to play some of the world’s most famous clubs including Vertigo in Costa Rica, Stereo in Montreal, and Vision in Chicago. At his home base, Darin plays twice a month for Insomniac's Awakening events at Exchange LA.
2012 also saw Darin become the official Prog/Tech House reviewer for Tilllate Magazine. This UK based publication (formerly known as M8 Magazine) is one of the leading tastemaker entities in dance music with 84,000+ subscribers. Each month, Darin showcases his favorite selections for a worldwide audience.
Last month, Darin's official Soundcloud surpassed the magical number of 500,000 plays and continues to be one of the most popular destinations for his genre. With over 220 DJ sets and 180 tracks, “prolific” would not even begin to describe this page.
His label Perspectives Digital recently celebrated its two year anniversary by offering exclusive Perspectives Digital T-shirts.
