One of the most acclaimed products to ever reach the music industry was the Korg Kaoss Pad which was so popular that it was even fitted to certain mixers.
The Kaoss Pad, for those of you unfamiliar with it, is an special effects piece of hardware for the dj or producer who wants to add a bit of flavour to their mixes or production with built in collection of sound effects which fit perfectly into any mix or track seamlessly at the touch of a finger.
Denounced as one of the most innovative products ever to come on the market when it came out just over 2 years, ago, its set to be revived in 2002.
The 2nd addition to the Kaoss Pad is rightly titled Kaoss Pad 2, and features increased sampler effects and new tools, as well as an Auto BPM detector.
For those of your looking for aesthetics, the new Kaoss Pad features a few more pretty colours and lights to add to its extra effects.
The technicalities I won't go into, but for more info in the near future, check out the website at www.kaoss.co.uk
