Airscape are back with their first single release since 2009. The project is now in the sole hands of trance legend Johan Gielen and following on from the new single 'Endless Forever' will be an artist album this Autumn. For now, the new single should wet your audio appetite...
I’ve not been so excited since Ralphie B announced he was returning to the scene with new releases. The Airscape name has been around since 1992 being brought to life by Johan Gielen and setting the trance scene alight with some classic records. The most well know of those would be the tremendous ‘L’Esperanza’ that fell in 1999. For a few years he had a helping hand with the project in Sven Mass. In 2005 Mass left the project and it was not until 2009 that Johan Gielen brought life back to it once again with ‘My Love’. Since then, the Airscape name has been absent from the trance scene but that’s about to change with a brand new single ‘Endless Forever’. It’s a pure Johan instrumental and gives you a taste of what to expect from an Airscape artist album come this autumn. I’m sure there will be a few more singles to come before then.

:: Orginal Mix :: Three Drives Mix
You could be forgiven for thinking your looking at the classics section when taking a look at this release, especially with the addition of a very driving Three Drives remix. Airscape have been pouring out delicious melodies ever since their birth in 1992. Endless Forever is full to the brim of just the same just with a new edge to the sound but keeping a little old school uplift. The main melody is all piano driven and more prominent in the original mix, which focuses on its pure key sound rather than the trance driven Three Drives remix. The sweeping and uplifting melody which features in both is pure joy! It’s classic Airscape and of course, Joahn Gielen, whose motivation for trance music never seems diminish.
Conclusion:
You could rank this release right up there with the all time Airscape greats and the fact that Johan has begun a new chapter with the name but kept the uplifting feel is very welcome! This is the re-birth of Airscape and the start of some very exciting things to come.
