© disco:waxDanish duo Hampenberg and Alexander Brown return with their second foray into urban dance, and its set to illuminate dance floors everywhere. You're A Star features Busta Rhymes and Shonie and is released under the disco:wax imprint...

Both firmly established in their home nation, Morten Hampenberg and Alexander Brown are two of the most recognisable faces in the current crop of outstanding Danish EDM talent. Hampenberg and Alexander Brown are both renowned producers/DJs in Denmark. As a duo, their discography already includes three platinum singles plus one gold and one platinum album. Internationally, they smashed into our collective consciousness in 2012 with Raise The Roof - a collaboration with megastars Pitbull and Fatman Scoop. Morten Hampenberg, under his MOAM alias, also remixed two huge Tiësto-supported Example tracks last year and co-produced Example's single Say Nothing.

Keen to build on the buzz generated by these releases, the pair knew they needed to feature someone exceptional on new single You're A Star. Rap royalty, someone who had set the tone for artists like Pitbull to spearhead the urban dance phenomenon, an internationally known and respected MC with unbeatable flow.

They found their answer in Busta Rhymes. Instantly recognisable for his rapid, ragga-inspired style and complex rhythms, he was the natural choice for their high-energy dancefloor anthem. From Busta's insistent verses the track leaps into a soaring, hook-laden chorus laid down by Miami-based R&B songstress Shonie. With the four collaborators in place, You're A Star was born.

Alongside the potent track is an equally powerful video, featuring a series of incredible dancers winding and body-popping their way around a crowded city. It's almost a little dark, especially when Busta gets right up into the camera for a verse in which the camera's focus alters almost continuously, and the smooth flow of the dancers matches the track's hypnotic snake-charmer melody perfectly.

A solid remix pack accompanies, with remixes from Big Rock, John Christian and Nick Naes. A fantastic remix by Alexander Brown is also available, throwing some trance-infused synths and mammoth drops into the mix and showing without doubt that he can cut it as a producer as well as behind the decks. Combining the best of both worlds, the duo's ambitions as Denmark's next big music success story is on its way to being realised.
