On ‘Body Rock’, Marc Vedo & 8Ball revitalise that classic 90’s house organ vibe, bringing it back with a contemporary twist that sounds fresh for 2013.
Over the past couple of years, Marchas achieved heights many DJ’s can only dream of, from playing Glastonbury Festival and Space Ibiza, to a 900,000 strong crowd at Street Parade Switzerland.
Darren runs the esteemed Mondo Records and is@one of the world’s premiere DJ’s, headlining major events, and touring the globe whilst also hosting the monthly ‘Mondo Sessions’ on Ministry of Sound Radio.
Remixes come from a crop of exciting new names to emerge from the UK, such as Solarris, Ivory D’or, and A Lister, who all drop their own unique sound on ‘Body Rock’
Solarris (who already counts Skream, Toddla T, and Route94 amongst his supporters) goes in deep on his remix, taking the track into a darker, and yet surprisingly funky zone. This jam is for the early hours crew and is set to put him firmly on the map.
Ivory D’or, recently selected by BBC Radio 1’s, B.Traits as one of her ‘Tips for 2013’, takes things up a gear, with a stomping bass heavy house workout, chopping up Natasha’s vocals, and complimenting them with smooth gliding pads.
Lastly, A Lister who has recently blown up on Traxsource with a slew of top 10s, and a no.1 under his belt, goes for a raw cut aimed squarely at the dancefloor. This remix has a deep bass groove, and pitched down vocal, that is guaranteed to do the damage in the clubs.
All 4 mixes are top quality, and strong enough to be individual releases in their own right. You can be sure that you’ll be hearing all these mixes over the summer from Miami to Ibiza and beyond.
