Carlo Calabro continues the trend of quirky track names with his seventh release on his very own label 'Hamsta's Paradise'. Don't think this tune is a cute little fella running round in a wheel, this tune is tough...
It’s just the single track on the very latest audio to flow out of the Carlo Calabro label. This is his first release this year on a label he uses exclusively for his own productions. That’s the perk of having your own label; you always have an outlet for your next tune. I doubt Carlo would have any trouble getting his tracks signed to other labels as his production quality is superb. He does come up with some very strange names for his tech trance monsters with previous outings like ‘Tricky Chicken & Stunt Goat’, ‘Fight On Sissy Lane’ and ‘Carpet Cleaning’. Now, its time for the hamster to be let our of the cage with ‘Hamsta’s Paradise’.

:: Hamsta's Paradise (Released 27th May)
Carlo’s music has always been something which stands out from the usual as he creates sounds like no other. This latest single weapon of mass destruction is big, dirty, filthy and tears you to bits with an immense bass line. The main beat of the beasts at first seems steady enough but once Carlo starts to add layers and texture as he builds the tune up you get treated to this fantastic low bass line with synth’s to die for. It drives you into a dark mood and really does have a serious fizz on the main hook to the tune. Things do get a little light as the breakdown of the track hits but it’s not long before that builds you back to the immense hook once again. This one is sure to get the feet tapping!
There is only one version to this but quite a funny extract from the crib sheet is if there were a vocal version, it might have gone a little like this: "I'm a hamsta. I'm the kinda H the little homies wanna be like. On my knees in the light. Sayin' prayers in the street light. Shooting people by day, selling drugs by night. Being a hamsta is hella tight. Peace!"
Conclusion:
Carlo brings another unique blend to the table with Hamsta’s Paradise. It’s a tech infused track bursting with flavour and perfect for those dark and dirty sets. Grab this one when it’s let loose on the 25th May.
