© Rub-A-Duck/Black Hole RecordingsDons of breakbeat the Freestylers re-emerge on the bass music scene with their scintillating fifth studio album, ‘The Coming Storm’...

Following a career spanning 15 years, Matt Cantor and Aston Harvey have played all the biggest festivals and nightclubs and now they’re back with a brand new 13-track LP packed to the brim featuring collaborations with Synikall, Stereo:Type, Wizard, Sirreal, Laura Steel, Irwin Sparks, Fast Eddie and many more.

The new album foregrounds why the Freestylers foreground are known and loved for their unique production style and approach to everything bass.

Opening with the Illaman and Serocee backed Ignite, the Freestylers move to the radio friendly Yours To Waste with Irwin Sparks. Followed by the speed garage-esque Falling featuring Laura Steel, the title track The Coming Storm enters, taking the fusion of dub and jungle to another level. It's a collaboration with Stereo:Type welcoming the moody and melodic vocals of Takura (of Chase and Status fame) and truly stands for the Freestylers sound for the new era.

Freestylers aren't afraid to dabble in hip-hop with Who Got Da Buzz featuring Synikall, and they continue to new styles with the acid house cut titled The Sound featuring hip-house legend Fast Eddie and many more straight up dance floor smashes.

Whether they're performing as a live band, sound system or DJing, you know the Freestylers are going to smash it. Brace yourself for the coming storm!
