We were send in this quite funky little video from Tristan Garner today who has put his own spin on the end of one of his most inspirational film releases of all time 'The Matrix'. He'll have an album out this year to so get a taste of this Frenchman's style with this clip...
We all have our favourite films but wouldn't it be nice if you could create your own soundtrack for it? One particular film that’s a favourite of Tristan Garner is ‘The Matrix’, I’m sure it’s a favourite of many others two. This talented French producer had a late night studio session which turned into a film viewing and gave him an idea to create the music for the final scene in the film. It turned out pretty well and you can check it out in the video below.
Having been bought up on sci-fi and graphic novels such as Bladerunner. Watchman, and The Dark Knight, these influences have steeped, festered and manifested in Tristan’s everyday life, from his own unique style right through to his musical outputs, there is a hint of chaotic darkness in his persona.
With plans for an album at the tail end of 2013, Tristan has found himself pulling long studio hours and on his downtime, revisiting some of those classic sci-fi moments of his youth, The Matrix was a game changer, the cinematography, style and setting of the movie has reignited that spark of inspiration, “Seeing Keanu Reeves reach his potential and realise his role as Neo in the ongoing battle was breath taking... Those fight scenes blew my mind!”
After one late night studio session that rolled into an early morning viewing session of The Matrix, Tristan had an idea to re-create the ending soundtrack, keeping the original background fx and voices, Tristan has composed and arranged everything for the love of score music!
