Three new productions featuring on Carl Cox's own Record Label 'Intec Records' getting some plays from Marco V
The Finally EP was released on 26/03/2002 and has the following tracks
A1: Oxia - Troisieme B1: Oxia - Hypnotik B2: Oxia - Chrono
A1: Oxia - Troisieme This is quite a nice steady track which would feature nicely at the start of a set. Its more progressive than anything else as it doesn't have any uplifting qualities to it. This wouldn't really appeal to the average Trance Addict but is just one of those warm-up tracks that you expect to hear.
B1: Oxia - Hypnotik This is slightly harder than the track on the first side of the EP. There is a bit more of a 'funkier' beat which nearly gives it a kind of tribal sound. Again, this track isn't trance but had Progressive House Qualities.
B2: Oxia - Chrono This one is different again from the other two productions. Again, perhaps a nice track to have at the beginning of a good Hard Tech Trance Set. There's a couple of nifty sounds in here which helps to make it a little more interesting than the other two tracks on the EP.
Conclusion
A couple of interesting tracks here worth giving a listen but probably won't appeal much to the average trance lover. But its good to listen to a good variety and this one I kind of like. 'Chrono' is probably the best track on here and I would give it 7/10.
