An extremely popular Techno Track which is very unique and has been hammered by all the top techno DJ's around...
This has received plays from Marco V and Joy Kitikonti which I can remember at Godskitchen the other Friday and also last night at a new techno club called 'Sub7' which has just opened near to where I live :)
This production was released on 27/03/2002 and appears on "ANIMA RECORDINGS" featuring the following tracks:
A1: IRA (Original) B1: IRA (Marco Zaffarano Remix)
A1: IRA (Original) This is an excellent Techno production which is certainly very unique. I have never heard anything like this before. It starts off with an interesting sound of beat with pitch slowly dropping, then the amazing unique repeating whirling sounds come into play. There is a slight breakdown of the tune, the beat and sounds fade slightly where the melody of the track is introduced. As its all about to go off there is an incredible build-up. At the peak of this the melody is incredible. Later on a few vocals are introduced which help make this complete.
B1: IRA (Marco Zaffarano Remix) This remix starts off a little lighter and the vocal sounds are right at the start rather than half way through. The pace seems a little faster and new sounds and effects have been introduced to make it more of a unique Techno track than the original. The melody is still there but the overall track isn't as hard as the original which is a little bit of a let down.
Conclusion
This is pure Techno. I myself love uplifting trance and I am sure most of you do too. However, since I also love hard tech trance equally as much its easy to appreciate and like many of the Techno tracks out there such as this one. I give 9/10
