 It’s a very exciting month for Bobina fans as he releases his fourth artist album ‘Same Difference’ and fires off the first singles from it…
It's been a while since we had a Bobina news update come through the i:Vibes letterbox but this summer is a very exciting one for new music from one of Russia's biggest trance artists. He has a fourth artist album out this week, with the first single already doing the rounds and the second one not far off doing the same. Read all about it right below.
MUSIC: BRAND NEW ARTIST ALBUM 'SAME DIFFERENCE' OUT NOW!
Two years ago, with 'Rocket Ride', his last artist album, electronic music cosmonaut Bobina shot his sound space-bound… Now, in the year 2013, he returns to deliver what he terms "a continuation album" and "a sequel in all but name".
Drawing on a spacious range of influences, styles and inspirations - both pre-and-post millennial - 'Same Difference' beams its epic sonics out from the heavens. With a dance planet firmly in its crosshairs, and an accomplished vocal and co-production crew on board (Susana, Betsie Larkin, Ana Criado and Andrew Rayel among them), Bobina's pan-galactic, retro-futuristic EDMission continues on June 17th,

MUSIC: NEW SINGLE 'SACRAMENTUM' FEATURING ANDREW RAYELOUT NOW!
'Basque The Dog' has already been beating the drum hard for Bobina's album return (with Mixmag giving it 8/10 and saying its "dynamic beats, rumble-bass & tech-trance conclusion which leave you lightheaded". Now the stakes are about to be upped again. With the Trance Grand Master sharing studio space with Andrew Rayel, the pair have arrived with 'Sacramentum'. The track combines Bobina's punch-packing bottom-end, with the Moldovan's orchestrated symphonica popping the mercury up at the top end. The track has scored both the Tune of the Week and Future Favourite awards on Armin's A State of Trance show, racking up numerous spins to date.

MUSIC: FORTHCOMING SINGLE 'FOR WHO I AM' FEATURING ANA CRIADO
Wondering what the next single to follow 'Sacramentum' out of the 'Same Difference' stable will be? Wonder no more!
Engaging the talents of some of electronic music's hottest singers and most creative, authentic lyricists for the album, he's teamed up with Ana Criado on 'For Who I Am'. Her cut-to-the-quick song drips an aching expressionism into the track, while Dmitry underlays the Dutch doyen's vox with a complex production nature.

REMIXED: LOVERUSH UK FEATURING BRYAN ADAMS 'TONIGHT IN BABYLON'
Working the remix end of the desk just as industriously as the production side, Bobina has finished work on a rebuild of last year's Loverush UK feat. Bryan Adams single 'Tonight In Babylon'. Giving it a very 2013 re-spray, he's zeroed in on the trance zeitgeist of Adam's vocal, bringing yet greater uplift to the track.
