Paul van Dyk has been giving his fans a real insight into his weekly whereabouts on his new TV show broadcast through his YouTube channel. This past week he went behind the scenes at the freshly refurbished Amnesia club in Ibiza for Cream’s opening night. The DJ booth which once overlooked the main dance floor has gone and in its place a lower more intimate booth. They’ve moved all those amps that decorated the back of the booth to and replaced it with a massive LCD screen. The sound system is as crisp and loud as ever, perfect for the pounding beats of Paul van Dyk.
You will find a few of those beats in this month’s VONYC Sessions selection pack which features Paul’s top ten tunes of the month. As ever with the VONYC Sessions, there is a good spread of electronic styles with tunes from Jaytech, Above & Beyond and Cosmic Gate.
