 French superstar David Guetta and GLOWINTHEDARK release ‘Ain’t A Party’!
Young Dutch producers/DJ’s Albert Harvey and Kevin Ramos a.k.a GLOWINTHEDARK have recorded a single with successful producer and the world’s former number one DJ David Guetta. The track ‘Ain’t A Party’ was released on Monday June 17th as a dance club version. Experts already expect the track to become one of the biggest pan-European summer hits of 2013.
Guetta has been one of the world’s successful DJ’s for years, scoring one chart hit after the other. He partnered up with various famous artists like Rihanna, Kelly Rowland, Kid Cudi, Nicki Minaj, Will.I.Am, Flo Rida, Sia, Usher and Akon. In 2011 the British DJ Mag elected him Best DJ worldwide and in May this year he won the prestigious American Billboard Music Award for best EDM artist.
Guetta already boosted the careers of Dutch artists Afrojack, DJ Chuckie and Nicky Romero after working together with him and the same effect might just happen to GLOWINTHEDARK. ”Guetta seems to be a perfect push to launch Dutch talent. When Guetta is involved, a lot of doors will open. This production will also be one of the tracks on his compilation CD ‘F*** Me I’m Famous’, to be released later this year, meaning it will draw a lot of attention,” a spokesman of the GLOWINTHEDARK management says.
Harvey (1986) and Ramos (1987) form an inseparable musical duo which composed hits for various artist as ghost producers. Lately they are celebrating their own international success as producers, performed as DJ’s in a string of major global cities and have just finished their Brazilian tour.
GLOWINTHEDARK was introduced to Guetta by DJ Chuckie. After the Winter Music Conference in the US, the duo met Guetta on Miami airport where the deal was closed. Guetta and GLOWINTHEDARK got into the studio together and recorded ‘Ain’t A Party’ with British vocalist Harrison. After the release of the dance club version, later this month the radio version will be released.
