 Electrocity have teamed up with Mixcloud to offer one lucky DJ a chance to perform a set at this year's event alongside the likes of Ferry Corsten, Dubfire, Adam Bayer, John O'Callaghan and Seid van Riel...
Set in the surroundings of the second world's biggest Monastery in Lubiaz, Poland; Electrocity is one of Europe’s fasted growing dance music festivals. The combination of historic architecture and cutting edge contemporary music, marries the past with the modern, as thousands of partygoers from across Europe unite at this enchanting location.
The main stage (Electrocity) with all its bright lights and pyrotechnics is positioned inside the courtyard with the palace providing a stunning backdrop, and a partying experience that you won’t match anywhere else. With the second stage (Fly With Me) actually being inside the disused church and accommodating up to 4000 people all set out for a pilgrimage or electronic music and party culture. Right next to the Monastery's main entrance you will another stage (Run To The Sun) for big room sound lovers (progressive, trance, house - you name it).
With a press release like that who wouldn't want to play in front the hug crowd this event will draw in with clubbers around the globe descending into Poland to see the likes of Ferry Corsten, John O'Callaghan and Dubfire. You can have the chance if you put your tunes together and rustle up a 30 minute mix before the 22nd July. The Electrocity folks have teamed up with MixCloud to run this competition which offers you the opportunity to play a 60 minute set at the event and take a mate along for company. WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO
:: Contruct a 30 minute mix of yopur choice of music.
:: Upload you mix onto MixCloud
:: Make sure you name the mix "Electrocity 8 Contest - [Your DJ Name]" and tag it Electrocity 8
:: Include the competition cover art with your mix.
Spread the word about your mix and submit your entry by the 22nd July to be in with a chance of winning a 60 minute set at this years event, 5 start hotel treatment, flight and transport cost and a Royal VIP ticket so you can bring a friend.
