Fresh after the release of his 2013 remake of his spectacular Trance Energy anthem, "The Future", Dutch superstar JOOP solidifies his place as a world class artist and DJ, with constant support from Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Pete Tong, and a host of the biggest DJs in the world...
For this release, JOOP has teamed up with The EDM Network's (House.NET, Dubstep.NET, etc...) Resident DJ's, Fuzzi Kittenz for one hell of a big-room collab!
Being out on tour and seeing the widespread success of his anthemic big-room tracks, JOOP knew that his next bass explosion needed to include a catchy vocal hook and a killer video. Looking for a collaborator, JOOP turned to an old producing buddy, who immediately suggested working with some of his long time friends - enter FUZZI KITTENZ.
A meeting was arranged, and after one long night in a sin city club, the concept for SEX GRENADE was born. Just in time to be a mid-summer party anthem, this mischievous monster of a track has pool party written all over it. Big-room bass with a hint of theatrical debauchery sprinkled on top... The crispness of the kick drum will test the abilities of your speakers, and the lyrics are undeniably fun -- perfect for heating things up with a cool drink in hand. The club dub edit, on the other hand, is an unabashed big room blaster that will definitely make the DJs drool this festival season.

JOOP has demonstrated his beat-crafting prowess before, on such productions as “The Future 2013”, “Just One Night”, “The World/Another World”, “Act Of God”, and many more. JOOP's current solo smash The Future 2013 got massive love from Porter Robinson as he played the beloved anthem on EDC Vegas' Kinetic Field in front of 100.000+ ecstatic people. Tiesto supported in his global Club Life radio show among tons of other A-list DJs. JOOP's ability to create bass lines that want to blow up your subs is an undeniable talent. His productions have routinely been supported by Tiësto, Armin van Buuren (A State of Trance), and many more international celebrities.
The Fuzzi Kittenz have blasted onto the scene with their unique, comical/commercial take on both dance and pop music. Their bi-weekly DJ mixes have gained enormous support and accolades, with each one garnering 40-50+ thousand plays within a few days of dropping. Their sound has been described as a “the answer to LMFAO”, and they make people want to party harder than ever before -- reminding the world not to take themselves too seriously.
For the club edit, JOOP focuses that relentless drive straight into the low frequencies, resulting in an irresistible, must-dance reaction as the beat drops. The radio edit is a poolside smasher as the Kittenz serenade us with their naughty summer escapades - “Gettin’ paid, gettin’ laid, drop it like a Sex Grenade”.
