Simon Patterson Debuts On Full On Fluoro

It’s very safe to say that Simon Patterson has undergone a little bit of a transformation over the past few years taking his sound more underground. If you were to put some of his early productions like ‘Thump’ and ‘Us’ and compare the sound to what he pumps out on his ‘Open Up’ radio show each week you could be forgiven thinking it’s a different artist. The direction he’s gone into though is not a bad one and slips along the lines of the sound of John 00 Fleming and Christopher Lawrence pushing the psy trance sound.

It’s a direction that has earned him the respect of many great electronic dance music names, most notably the mighty Paul Oakenfold. Paul’s got a lot of faith in Mr Patterson and the proof of that is having him mix together the very first ‘Full On Flouro’ compilation. Paul brought the Flouro brand back as he rediscovered his passion for trance music and since bring the name by to the scene has broadcasted a monthly radio show ‘Full On Flouro’ showcasing the underground sound of electronic dance music with trance very much at the front of the style pool.

After 30 editions of the radio show the first ‘Full on Flouro’ compilation is out right now with a tracklist tastier than a stuffed turkey at Christmas. Check it out below.
