 The Above & Beyond guys have played two of their acoustic shows so far and the reception for the unplugged editions of their records has been sensational. The full album and a feature film are on the way…
2013 saw the Above & Beyond trio move into a very new territory with their music by stripping back the electronic instruments and going full on acoustic. There are trance records that suit the acoustic sound and most of Above & Beyond’s fall into that category. The guys played two dates over the course of this year, one in Prochester Hall here in the UK and a second date in LA’s Greek Theatre back in October. Safe to say, both events were a complete sell out.
While no dates have been announced for 2014 the guys will be releasing a full acoustic artist collection along with a feature film of their live performances. They have taken some of their finest back catalogue of music and given them the full acoustic treatment. You can watch the video of the guys performing ‘Love Is Not Enough’ from Perchester Hall and get the single free if you pre-order the acoustic album from the Anjunastore or iTunes. The album will be coming out at the end of next month.
