For those of you who have played Grand Theft Auto 5, and that mat be quite a few, you may just remember this track from it which was the official theme tune for the game. 'Sleepwalking' from the Chain Gang or 1974 gets the trance treatment from Enhanced Recordings very talented Juventa...
It’s still a game I have an hour or two on each week and one which broke sales records when it was released late last year. Grand Theft Auto 5, like its predecessors featured a very diverse and exclusive soundtrack within the games many radio stations. The main title track from the game and the one you will have heard all over the adverts for it on the TV was a track called ‘Sleepwalking’ by the Chain Gang of 1974. I have to say I had never heard of them before this came out. They are a band you would do well to look into as they have a new album out called ‘Daydream Forever’ which features the track Sleepwalking.
It seems that the mighty talented Juventa is also a fan of the Grand Theft Auto games as Enhanced Recordings will be releasing his remix of Sleepwalking on the 10th March. His remix is superb and does no injustice to the original. He’s just added a bit of pace and energy to the mix. You can check it out for yourself by listening to the preview below.
