Following his successful collaboration‘Freudenrausch’ with the renowned Rank 1 on High Contrastin March, the global trance producer is back on the labelto release his euphoric two track EP, and looks set to make serious waves around the world, further proving himself a force to be reckoned with.

Dennis Sheperd is a man in high demand, his productions played by the trance elite the world over including Tiësto, Paul Van Dyk, and Ferry Corsten to name a few. His remix skills have been sought after by the likes of Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery and Above& Beyond, and with the launch of his new record label, ‘A Tribute To Life’ later this year, plus a second artist album also in the pipeline, the Berlin-based tastemaker has firmly secured his name within the upper echelons of top dance producers.

The first track on the EP, ‘We Are Who We Are’ sends the listener on a compelling journey of synth-heavy build ups delivering a mind-blowing experience once the bass drops and evolving into a skilfully layered, melodic masterpiece.

Starting off with an atmospheric instrumental, the second track ‘Sofia’ jumps straight in with a pounding and resonant drum bass, taken over by a punchy acid lead line to deliver a distinctive and powerful production. Inspired by Dennis’s time in Bulgaria, ‘Sofia’ is a tribute to his Bulgarian fans who he considers some of the best in the world! With the track named after the capital itself, Dennis returns to Sofia on 17 May for a backbreaking 7 hour set at the city’s well known Cosmo Club, which also follows an appearance at A State Of Trance 600 at Arena Armeec, alongside Armin van Buuren, Dash Berlin, and Ferry Corsten last year.

Tipped to be yet another big release from the undeniably gifted producer, the ‘We Are Who We Are/Sofia’ EP is a mesmerising, hook laden paragon, which will– in no doubt – be tearing up trance dancefloors across the world.
