Lisa Lashes returns to the Pharmacy Music label and has some tidy progressive psy influenced trance for you to tuck in with two tracks on offer 'Die Del Presedente' and 'Bladepoint'. These should get things moving from miss Lashes...
Just where does a former Hard House advocate go when the genre just fades away into the background and gets all muddled up with this hardstyle stuff we have around these days? Psy trance would be the answer for former hard house queen Lisa Lashes and she's getting rather good at it. I'm sure any respectable Lisa Lashes fan would have a few of her Euphoria compilations in the CD collection and wonder just what she pushes out these days, a decade on from the hard house explosion. This new release on trance icon Christopher Lawrence's Pharmacy label is a prime example of the style she is driving today. It's very progressive, a different style but still towards the high end of the BPM range. This release may be the deepest and most progressive music Lisa has produced so far.

:: Dia Del Presidente :: Bladepoint
Lisa has brought two very tidy progressive gems to the table here, both deeply psy trance influenced with each having there own signature hook driven through it. Dia Del Presidente is the more progressive of the two with an irresistibly addictive beat pattern and baseline. The progressive sound is all about kinetic energy building and building, but without never really hitting a peak, Lisa puts her production talents on full show with this one. There are two small breaks in the progressiveness to be found within this track that work very well. Flip to the other side and with Bladepoint you get a much deeper bassline and an injection of pace into the mix. This one is all about the addictive patterns and short; sharp shooting hooks that fire off as you get drawn in by the bass line. Once again, two main breaks in the track split up that bass line and build the energy up very sweetly.
Conclusion:
The most progressive stuff I've heard from Lisa Lashes in the more psy trance influenced production style she favours today. From a hard house pioneer to a psy trance rejuvenator, get ready to be lashed with some serious beats on this release.
