He was voted the best DJ in the world a few years ago but since topping the charts and playing some of the biggest gigs on the planet Clive Rudloe has disappeared off the radar. We begin an investigation to find out where he is...
There are many mysteries in the dance music world like just what happened to Vincent De Moor and just who produces for whom these days? Questions there we don’t have an answer for because there is a more important one the dance scene needs to address. Just where the hell is Clive Rudloe? He was the world’s best DJ back in 2007 and at his peak used to play to over 75 people at weddings. He classed with Above & Beyond a few years ago and even gatecrashed one of their gigs at the Ministry of Sound before being booted off the main stage.
He did land a 3 and half minute gig at the iconic Cream night a few years ago which got clubbers gagging for more. Since that legendary, but brief appearance he has not been seen on the scene since. Although some critics have labelled him a ‘Bottom Feeder’ and ‘F**k Head’ Clive Rudloe remains one of the dance scene biggest talents never to hit his full potential.
We have tried to contact Above & Beyond, his former manager Kath and Clive himself for comment on his current DJ status.
