 Just in time for the weekend Armin announces a brand new 'A State of Trance' coming in September which collects together his favourite tracks played at his weekly residency at Ushuaïa during this Ibiza season...
It’s a welcome announcement by Armin van Buuren today that he will be releasing a new ‘A State of Trance’ mix compilation. He usually drops one on an annual basis at the beginning of the year but he’s got an Ibiza themed version to round off this Summer. He’s played at all the major clubs over in Ibiza over the years but this year took a weekly gig at the Ushuaïa Beach Hotel, which doubles as a club. I don’t think it’s the kind of hotel you go for a family vacation more a party goers dream with the beats within spitting distance.
The album he’s put together mixes up a few of his favourite tracks from this season including a few exclusives and un-released tunes. There are quite a few familiar names on the tracklist with beats from Jorn Van Deyhoven, Cosmic Gate, John O’Callaghan, Heatbeat, Andrew Bayer and Alexander Popov. You will also find a brand new Armin single nestled inside one of the mixes with a track called ‘Hystereo’. He has also done a few exclusive mash ups which he is know to play on his weekly radio show combining tunes together with surprisingly good results.
It does look a very tidy compilation and will be released as a digital edition and CD version. I’m sure many of the tunes from the compilation on his weekly ‘A State Of Trance’, broadcast every Thursday, in the following weeks. The full tracklist and digital pre-order link are below.
