German trancer with crossover appeal on new label Venom. Marc La Cruz is well known is his own country but how will he fair in a wider area? Lets see what this latest offering is like and if it has a chance of competing on this scale...

Marc La Cruz who is sufficiently well known in his home country of Germany and previously associated with the now defunct Music Research record company premiers on the Venom label. The opening bars lay down a very dancey medium heavy trance beat with good percussion until the vocal, "I Got You Under My Skin," appears alongwith the evolving trance leads. The track trots on and starts to reveal it's more unplitfting elements before pulling back a little and drifting into it's extended orchestral break. My main criticism of the track is with the orchestral melody which comes across as a little too uplifting but the strength of everything around it means the track is an essential number. This is especially true of the end of the main break where the vocal re-appears just before the bass whacks in almost unawares with a real purity that will create a few roars on club exposure. Watch out for Marc La Cruz I have a vague feeling he's finding his element.
