 Toolroom Records is proud to present a huge collab between Doorly and a House music master, this time with one of Doorly's biggest musical influences, Todd Terry!
Taken from the first EP in a new series called Doorly & Friends, 'On A Mission' offers pure, unadulterated house.
Driving percussion, warped vocals, acidic undertones... everything you need to get the party started is there in abundance. The release is then completed by another collaboration, this time with DJ Pierre on 'Gotta Get'.
Doorly was over the moon at the chance to work with the likes of Todd Terry."They say you should never meet your Idols... Screw that!" he says. "If you’d have told me ten years ago that I would have some Todd Terry drums to collaborate with, I would have thought you were mental. Todd Terry is easily one of my biggest musical influences and now a good mate."
Doorly & Friends 01 is set to drop via the Toolroom Beatport on October 27th.
