This is a remake of a rendition Jerome Isma-Ae and Roy Stroebel did of a 1997 record Timo Mass and Martin Buttrich produced. You may recognize the vocal sample in there. The 2014 Vila Nova update is a rather good one by all accounts and is well worth paying some attention to...
Jerome Isma-Ae & Strobe have created the ideal sunset tune! With an instantly catchy guitar riff and smooth textures, “Vila Nova” fits perfectly into its new, 2014 shoes. Already seeing radio support from Cosmic Gate, Gareth Emery, Bobina and Blasterjaxx, “Vila Nova” is out now on Jerome Isma-Ae’s own Jee Productions.
Taking influences from the 1997 dance classic by Timo Maas and Martin Buttrich, Jerome Isma-Ae and long-time friend and producer Roy Stroebel created their own take in 2008, which was featured on the Buddha Bar compilation. Now Isma-Ae and Strobe team up once more for the 2014 version of the classic tune, bringing “Vila Nova” back to life with their deep, progressive house remake.
