© DiscoverThis is the perfect way to start the new year with a militant invasion of New York by the Discover Trance Academy featuring Bissen, Peter Plaznik, Origin, Thomas Datt and Affection on the 3rd January in New York City...

Home to two of the biggest and most prolific imprints in trance music - Discover Records and Discover Dark, they have 14 years experience in events, including the hugely successful "Live As" series, which has taken the brand to some of the biggest clubs in the World including Ministry of Sound, SW4, Passion, Fridge and LA Exchange, as well as visiting overseas destinations including South Africa, Italy, USA, Russia and Japan!

And now, the newly named "Discover Trance Academy" heads back to America and hits the East Coast as part of the "Around the World Cities Tour".

TUNE and Discover Trance Academy brings you "Are you afraid of the dark NYC?"

Early bird tickets have already sold out, giving a huge indication of how popular this event is looking to be. Militant Artists have revealed a World Exclusive - Plaznik and Origin will be playing back to back! Never seen before, these giants of tech-trance will literally blow NYC apart with there hard hitting trance style!

And as if that wasn't enough, there will also be a guest appearance from one of the city's trance supremo's! Bissen has promised to keep it dark and moody, to fit the "Discover Dark" vibe - as well as promising some exclusive plays of unheard material!

We will also be running a competition with United States Trance Movement to win a chance to meet all of the DJ's on the Saturday night PRIOR TO THE GIG! Details to follow in the next few days!

Peter Plaznik travels to The Big Apple - Fresh off the back of his USA debut on New Years Eve, in California. Experimenting with a fusion of uplifting trance, high-energy techno and progressive psy-trance, his unique style of music makes him one of the most sought after and highly respected DJ's of the moment. His shows are packed with energy, intensity and positivity, which engages the crowd and leaves them wanting more. With more dates to be announced in the USA for 2015, make sure that you one of the first people to say, "I remember where I was when I first had a Plaz-attack"!

Origin's journey started in New Jersey when Brendan Bartels and Cypher found a shared love for tech trance. They have risen as a powerful artist duo, packed with top quality production and undeniable stage presence, which captures listeners and breaks the norm on what the trance scene has to offer. The duo's rise to popularity came in part from their monthly performances at NYC's Pacha Club and now one half of this mind blowing act returns once again to pulverise the ears and the imagination of the NYC trance crew, demonstrating why in both 2013 and 2014, Origin's productions earned them positions in the Top 10 Trance charts and the #1 spot for a Tech Trance Release.

:: Exclusive interview with Origin @ EDMNYC

Thomas Datt needs no introduction to the New York massive. As a resident and firm favourite on the circuit of one of America's biggest party destinations, he is synonymous with quality trance music, having taken his first steps in to the global dance arena in 2003. From his early remixes to his breakout hit "Alone", Datt continues to pump out some of the most emotive music going. 2015 is going to be another huge year for Datticus and the Datt faithful, so don't miss the opportunity to see him transcend to the next level of his musical journey.

Bissen stormed the scene with classics "Exhale" and "Quicksand," and as a producer, has had upwards of 60 original and remix tracks released on some of the biggest, most desired and well-respected labels in the industry, including Discover Records, A State of Trance, Enhanced, Euphonic, Perfecto and Boxer. New York resident Georg has created some of the biggest dance floor smashers in the club scene in recent years and as a DJ, he delivers his no-nonsense approach with exciting and uplifting sets.

Affection completes the line up on the night. New York's resident trance supremo and all round trouble maker, is well known for his epic trance sets and has travelled as far afield as the UK, Germany and Japan to deliver his message which simply is "Trance music is the ultimate tool for sharing emotion"
