If you know your trance tunes then this will be one your more than familiar with. DJ Misjah & DJ Tim's classic Access track was released over 15 years ago and fresh for 2015 is a spanking new remix from John Askew...
There has been a rush of tasty remakes this year within the trance genre. The goo thing with them is the majority have not been too bad. For any trance fan that was brought up in the 99 era this will be a tune that rings more than a few bells. It came at a time where having DJ in your artist aliases was a cool thing. DJ Misjah and DJ Tim came up with what is now the classic ‘Access’ tune, a record with a massive acid riff which has torn down many bedrooms, clubs and car stereos over the years. As a collective group they are not know for much else but this one tune made up for the other lack of collective hits. It’s now been given the Fluoro treatment by John Askew and it’s mighty.
:: Keep peeled to Perfecto's YouTube channel for a preview.
:: John Askew Remix :: John Askew Radio Edit
There have been a good dose of classic remade on the Fluoro label this year, you may remember Paul Oakenfold’s look back at ten of his personal favourites earlier in the year. The original of this was played by all sorts of top jocks form the techno guys, house guys and trance guys back in 1995 when it first got unleashed. John askew has put some pace into his remake notching the tempo up to make that classic acid riff even more inviting. This is one very tidy remake, with nit a lot changed from the original format, it’s just been put into the Askew turbine and come out chattering a very aggressive tone. You should all know Johns banging style by now, and this is just that, banging.
Conclusion:
This one should go straight into the shopping basket when it pops up on the online dance stores in the new year. John has put the pace and tempo into the classic sounds of access and added another Fluoro essential to the discography.
