It's no surprise to find a new Pharmacy Music release on the review pages and the first of the new year comes from one of its regular in house artists Frost Raven. Get ready for some high tempo trance with a techno fused flip of a remix to go along with it from Casey Rasch...
There is one Pharmacy in this world that always gets your prescription right, that’s if you’re a trance fan of course, and that is the Pharmacy Music label. I’ve been forever impressed with the standard of new music they push out every month and with scene legend Christopher Lawrence at the helm it’s not much of a surprise. This is the first release from the label I’ve had my ears around this year and I must say I’m very impressed. The Frost Raven, Dustin Foxx Musser to his friends and family, is a regular on the label and without doubt of the underground talents in trance. You won’t find him throwing cake away behind the decks, just bloody good tunes. His new single ‘Never Alone’ is just that, bloody good!

:: Original Mix :: Casey Rasch Remix
The Frost Raven might not be an artist that you know much about, but he is one who you will look to after checking out a few of his tunes. Never Alone is a stunning trance affair with a pounding bass line, similar in style to early Simon Patterson beats. The melody has been well executed around the pounding beats and does drive a good uplift through the heart of the tune. The beats around it will really get your fist pumping though as the Frost Raven has really put the tempo effect into things. Casey Rasch delivers a very diverse remix with a heavy techno influence all the way through. The tempo is taken down a notch but the beat gets more aggressive with the tech influence very evident on the percussion side of things. The original’s melody is very sweetly interpreted in here without the track having a clear break. I really like the flow of Casey’s remix and going on last years form it’s the first of many more to come.
Conclusion:
This one should slide straight into your trance record shopping bag as its superb. A great start to the year from Pharmacy and one of its highly rated new artists Frost Raven, backed up by a meaty remix from Casey Rasch.
