Two forces in modern trance music team up with Liquid Soul infecting his psy styles on the trance icon that is Talla 2XLC as he debuts his psy alter ego Zyrus 7 for a record called 'The Future'...
The psycadelic sound of trance has been an infections genre over the past few years. While the style is still very much on the underground it’s been coming up for air every now and again. We have a very intriguing new release on the Perfecto Fluoro label with Liquid Soul collaborating with German trance legend Talla 2XLC, under his new psy style alias Zyrus 7. Liquid Soul is an artist on the up having been giving great praise by the likes of Paul Oakenfold and more recently appearing for Armin’s ‘A State of Trance 700’ celebrations. Talla 2XLC on the other hand has been on the up for the past 25 years! What happens when the new breed of psy meets the master of trance? Good things, I can guarantee you that.

Where is the original mix you might say? I don’t care, would be the answer you get from me. This release is a two interpretation psy tune with some hard hitting beats and rumbling bass lines. On the first flip of the coin you have Liquid Soul, who delivers a full on psy experience with the vocal to match. Crisp beats, deep roaring bass lines and a more addictive rhythm than smack greets you with his version of the future. What I love on his mix is the acid tweaked riff that is just addictive as hell.
You might have never heard of Zyrus 7, but you would have heard of Talla 2XLC. This new alias is his psy trance hybrid and his first proper venture into the style with a new name. What you going to find here are some wicked riffs and seriously meaty beats. The bass line and low end production in here has that psy edge but Talla’s trance mastery for an addictive riff is all on show over the course of this mix. It’s such a crisp sounding tune and full of addictive elements.

The meeting of two very talented minds has come up with the business here, these are two top draw trance tunes with that psy edge. Keep an eye out for this release as it will be hitting the virtual download stores in the very near future.
