Digital Society proudly Presents Open Up UK at O2 Academy Leeds, with head honcho SIMON PATTERSON alongside a host of very special guests. Open Up has become of the most revered club concepts in the world and now PATTERSON brings his pounding trademark sound to Leeds for the 2015 UK edition.
PATTERSON is responsible for some of the biggest Trance productions over the last ten years, including ‘Thump’, ‘Taxi’, “Us’ and ‘For The most Part’, to name just a few, with recent hits 'Whites of Her Eyes', 'Dissolve' and 'Brush Strokes' all smashing through the Beatport charts.
Headlining Open Up UK and making his debut appearance at Digital Society is psy-trance legend ASTRIX. Known for his driving, edgy and uplifting sets; Astrix showcases his extraordinary sound in a very rare UK appearance. Astrix and Simon are the perfect match demonstrated in last years stunning collaboration “Shadows”.
Open Up has become synonymous with the harder, relentless end of the Trance spectrum, on a worldwide scale with stellar events across the US & Canada, Asia and Europe. For the UK edition PATTERSON & ASTRIX are accompanied by Degenerate SEAN TYAS, the boss JOHN ASKEW, the legendary CHRISTOPHER LAWRENCE, man of moment ALEX DI STEFANO, rising star EDDIE BITAR, and progressive trance master AIRWAVE.
Over twenty thousand dance music fans have visited DS events in Leeds, featuring artists such as Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery, John O’Callaghan, Aly & Fila to name a few, and with Astrix and Simon Patterson heading up a very special production show - Digital Society and Open Up host this summers’ premium UK Trance event!
