The Prodigy have teamed up with Liam Gallagher on a a track for the group's forthcoming album...
'I hate dance stuff but this is a really good rock and roll song. It was a good song for me to sing and I wasn't told how to do it. I did it my way,' said snarling Manc Liam.
The future single has yet to be given a name, but it looks set to appear on The Prodigy's fourth album, Always Outnumered, Never Outgunned which is due for a release date this summer.
Liam's contribution came about through the connection with the Appleton sisters - Liam lives with Nicole while Natalie's boyfriend is Prodigy main man Liam Howlett.
With three songs written by the Oasis singer on the forthcoming Heathen Chemistry album, Liam has clearly got his songwriting head on at the moment.
'It's a tune we wrote together and Liam (Howlett) asked me to sing part of it,' confirmed the Oasis singer.
While brother Noel has become a regular vocal contributor on Chemical Brothers dance tracks, it seems that Liam wants a slice of the turntable action now. As well as The Prodigy, Liam has also been exploring his (limited) dance side with Death In Vegas.
'I did a song for their next album' confirmed Liam. 'We didn't write it together, I just went in and sung on it. '
