our latest signing, istanbul's yunus güvenen, is fast shaping up to be one of this year's buzz producers. formerly of fire records and currently also recording as mavi on america's regress records and working on something for bedrock, yunus has already won praise from nick warren, pete tong, john digweed, sasha, hernan cattaneo and chris fortier. haunting and deep melodic atmospherics on both sides courtesy of our very own turkish delight, this release looks like the beginning of a beautiful relatonship, with plenty more where this came from...

ian wilkie - guten tag (silver42)

hope superstar ian wilkie temporarily defects to the silver planet for this release, "guten tag", the second part in the trilogy which began with ian's acclaimed "guten morgen" release on polyester. now based in northern germany, the former resident of bristol's lakota makes a rare dj appearance in the uk on may 3rd at our brand new club night at brixton's telegraph, to coincide with his single release. a must for all of ian wilkie fans.

james holden vs ben pound :: kaern turned (easy06) (hand-sprayed limited edition)

the two tracks which fused together so well on james holden's fear of a silver planet mix album, ben pound's "turned" and james holden's "kaern", just sounded too good together to be left without an official release. a regular feature in james holden's sets ever since, the bootleg finally gets a limited release on easyaccess, and as if that wasn't collectable enough, it comes backed by the previously unreleased james holden ambient track "kaern" in a special hand-stencilled sleeve!! no self-respecting trooper should be seen without one!
