Paul van Dyk's 8th Studio Album Revealed 'From Then On'

© Paul van Dyk He’s been teasing it for a few weeks but details on Paul van Dyk’s next artist album have been revealed this week with a 14 strong long player featuring collaborations with Steve Allen, Alex M.O.R.P.H and Jordan Suckley…

Since Paul van Dyk had a near fatal fall at Armin’s ‘A State Of trance’ event last year he has returned to the scene better than ever. His music is back to the banging trance sound we all know and love, his radio show the VONYC Sessions is an all but essential listen each week featuring the very best artists on the guest mix. It’s been a while since he last had an artist album but news this week is that his 8th studio collection will be coming this October.

He’s been teasing it a bit over the past few weeks with artwork over his social media, which got me a little curious to what the new album has in store. Details have now been released in an exclusive article on Billboard with the full tracklisting revealed and a release date of the 20th October.

There are three familiar singles on the album with ‘Touched by Heaven', ‘Stronger Together’ and ‘Everyone needs love’. He has new collaborations in there with Jordan Suckley, Steve Allen, M.I.K.E & Fred Baker and Trisdan D. Along with the new album he will be unleashing a new live element called ‘AEON’, which is Latin for ‘Life & Vitality’. The first show will be on the 23rd September at the Playstation Theatre in New York.

What Paul said on his exclusive Billboard album reveal:

"Music has a distinct ability to take people away from their problems and relieve anxiety and stress, and this is the feeling we are trying to enhance with this new show concept," van Dyk said in a statement. "This intensified experience of sights, sounds and sensations will be our next level of entertainment. Paired with music of my upcoming album From Then On, it’s going to be a celebration of trance, life and unity."

I’m sure over the next few weeks Paul will reveal more music from the album and no doubt if you have caught him live you will have been exposed to the new tracks on the album already. It should be one of Paul’s best artist collections to date.
