Great news for all the Moby fans out there as he announced his new artist album will be released in March next year called 'Everything Was Beautiful And Nothing Hurt''...
Moby is one of the most iconic names in dance music history for me. Although is not just dance where his musical explorations have taken him. Over the past 20 years his music has been a welcome variety and if you’re like me his early records will have got you into dance music in the first place. I’ve really like his recent albums with the Void Pacific Choir, they have that Moby production style stamped all over it but take on a pop rock feel.
News on his new solo artist album this week came as a welcome surprise along with the official video from the first single taken from it. It will be his first since 2013 when he released ‘Innocents’. He announced the album through his social media channels and a little bit of background is he got the album title from a book by Kurt Vonnegut called "Slaughterhouse 5”.
The first single ‘Like A Motherless Child’ has that Moby ambiance to it with vocals from the man himself. Like a lot of Moby songs the music really guides you through a compelling story. You should expect plenty more of feeling from the new album which will be released on the 3rd March next year. Before then I’m sure there will be more music from the album announced and released but until then check out the first single.
