Craig Connelly kicks off 2018 where he left off last year with a fresh new track featruing the vocals of Kate Miles. It's not one taken from his superb debut artist album, this is a fresh dose of vocal uplifitng trance...
I have to say Craig Connelly really impressed me last year with his productions and from the sounds of his latest track he will be doing that even more this year. It was a massive year for the Manchester born trance producer with the release of his debut artist album ‘One Second Closer’. That album was a beauty, full of emotional and moving vocal trance. He has released a few singles from it during last year but its good to see he’s not sponging off it for new material. Not that it would matter, as the material on it is bloody good. His new single ‘Lost Without You’ is a fresh production and featuring the vocals of Kate Miles.

Craigs has used a few different vocalists on his tunes. You might have heard Kate’s harmonics before as she has put her voice to ‘Perfect’ by Apes & DJ Anna Lee and a collaboration with Tiesto for a new Allure track called ‘My Everything’ which was released on the Macgic Muzik label. She is from Norway but speaks fluent English and has a impressive vocal talent, which you ca hear for yourself in the beautiful vocals featured in Craig’s new tune. What to expect from it? Well, nothing but pure uplifting vocal trance with a production very well polished from start to finish. The melody and vocal work in perfect harmony, the strings leading up to the main break on this track are gorgeous and even more so when it breaks into a full on melody. It’s full on pounding, very well structured and seriously addictive.
Conclusion:
I’d firmly write this in as one of favourite vocal tracks for 2018 already, it’s beautiful. The break, melody, vocal and everything in between on this record just work. What a way to crack off the discography for this year for Craig Connelly.
