Cenk Basaran - Spoken World
In line with quite a few DJ's from the underground trance spectrum, we love a bit of hot audio Cenk Basaran action and Spoken Word delivers just that! Twisted acid and dark samples pepper the intro until the driving bass takes centre stage to further build the tension in the build. The breakdown is sinister to the extreme but very cool. This is Cenk at his twisted best. Diego Morrill's Mantacore Mix gives an expectedly cool twist from this talented producer. Leaning heavy on the Psy-Tek side its the perfect compliment to Cenk's original with both mixes oozing class from every bar!!

Trance Forever - Ready To Get Uplifted
Trance Forever return with the suitable titled Ready To Get Uplifted. We love the clean crisp intro which continues when the pulsating bass kicks in and from that point the track does not stand still for a second with chops and kick drops that keep you on your toes throughout. The breakdown delivers everything the title promises. It's lush, warm and box fresh "hands in the air" ready. Trance Forever delivers once again.

Zach Zlov - Apokolips
We love it when our premium label artists deliver a new track and a new Zach Zlov release is always welcomed with open arms. Apokolips is one of his best oozing warmth and depth from the growling bottom end which is punctuated by stabs and samples throughout the build. No discernable breakdown in this, just clever changes in direction and pace that avoid the need for anything remotely "normal" in dance music structure. And lets face it, who wants Zach Zlov to do normal!!!

G8 - Mine Is Bigger Than Yours
G8 delivers his debut artist album - Mine Is Bigger Than Yours for Discover Dark and what a stunning album it is. Following on from a string of high profile releases across the various Discover labels and beyond, G8 has delivered a full on techno album that is a force to be reckoned with. 10 tracks, 1 DJ mix and a lifetime of influences is the album in a nutshell. No edited tracks here. The album sits in its entirety from the outset with club friendly tracks that are also more than a little bit unsociable! Harsh and beautiful in equal measures - the opening track Babayaga signals the intent and the remaining 9 tunes carry the sonic baton from there on in. The G8 trademark funk is of course prevalent throughout - all wrapped up in techno finery. Creating an album full of techno tracks that will engage the listener for 60 minutes is no mean feat. And G8 has done exactly that. Mine Is Bigger Than Yours is a statement of intent - ignore it at your peril.
