There has been a great rise over the past few years from Russian trance artist ARTY who has gathered the support of many a top name DJ on the scene. Paul van Dyk is one such iconic name who rates this mans music of the highest regard. His music not only spreads under his ARTY name but you might know a few tracks from his Alpha 9 alias he also uses. I’m a great fan I must admit, and have been for a few years of his many productions which have been spread across some of the biggest labels on the scene. It’s where he has released the most and found very good home where you will find one of his latest singles on Armada Music.

Armin must have been dribbling from the mouth when ARTY sent him this demo as it’s a brilliant piece of trance with some very strong piano influences. I’ve always been a fan of the piano sound and its use of creating a tidy melody. ARTY puts his piano skills to great use with some stunning sequences in here and injects that uplift with some soothing sweeping vocal and backing sounds. It really is a good melody featured in a tune which delivers the peak of it straight after a delightful main break. There are lots of good sounds going on in here; it’s not too cluttered to take away the melodies effect as its all in good proportion. This is a great record from ARTY.
Conclusion:
What a lovely tune, polished production and a great deal of uplift to be found in here. Two editions to choose from with the extended remix giving you that bit more build and breakdown time to slip it nicely into your playlist. It’s been out a few weeks now but such a powerful record its worthy of a feature.
