Standerwick has come to join the party with a brand new remix of Ben Gold and Audrey Gallagher’s track ‘There Will Be Angels’…
There is nothing like breathing new life into an old song. Trance music moves on pretty fast and some would class a tune released last week as old in the fast paced world of trance music. This particular track from Ben Gold featuring the beautiful vocals of Audrey Gallagher first saw daylight in March this year. It was the first single from Ben’s debut artist album ‘Sound Advice’ which he crafted in his studio in London. Ben’s got quite a talent for vocal tunes and the original with his gorgeous guitar and vocal story was and is a great record.

Does any record really need to be touched? Well, yes if it’s done by someone in control of a good production stature. Standerwick is such a talent in the trance scene and you can expect to find his remix here gives the original a serious pump up. You don’t really need me to tell you that with it being on Armin’s ‘Who’s Afraid of 138?’ label. I’m not remotely ruffled by anything 138 so Standerwick’s pacey interpretation of ‘There Will Be Angels’ does not give a fright in the slightest. What it does give me is a seriously uplifting atmosphere as you would expect with his driving style. Take that guitar hook and put it on the backdrop of a very firm and fast Standerwick beat and you have one addictive remix here. The vocal fits in perfect with the uplift in tempo here and is just as gorgeous as it was in the original.
Conclusion:
Standerwick delivers a really addictive remix here. For those who like there trance with that little bit more tempo and love a vocal touch added in, this one is for you.
