The latest release from the massive ATCR label, the label which brought you Free Radical, Insigma, Goldenscan and more, is one of more trance bliss, showing signs that the trance is still alive and kicking.

ATCR or Trance Communications, has been one of the leading trance labels in the UK for the past several years, putting out massive classics such as Insigma's "Open Our Eyes", and releases by Steve Helstrip's younger brother Richard, under the Free Radical guise. This release is no exception and the 3 producers behind this track of seemingly German origins show that ATCR is one of, if not, the best label around.

 A1. Invasion (Invasion Remix)
 B1. Invasion (Original Club Remix)

I've started off with the Original Club Mix as thats the info and the one I've had on for a while. A seemingly typical bassline kicks off the rumble and then moulds into a somewhat German sounding trance track. Surprise, its produced by a couple. But the rolling synths which keep the track building for the next 2 minutes is intense to say the least and if played in a club, I am thinking this will cause quite a big riot at peak time. First things which come to mind when I listen to this track; Germany trance, possible Euro style. But this is quickly changed when the piano break comes in... I can't begin to describe the emotion which this track brings when the break comes in. Huge huge piano synths with choral backgrounds make this one of the best breaks I have heard for a long time. Turn this one up to full on your speakers or in a club and I think you'll get what I mean. Truly exception track and the only thing I wish, was that it would be longer!

The Invasion Remix moves off on a darker tier, with seemingly Hypetraxx crosses Gizeh like bassline and synths which build it up. This mix is longer than the last one but is no means different from the first. A different sounding track which would suit those who like it a bit deeper and a bit harder, with less of the "Euro-esque" edge. 2 minutes into the track we reach the first break, and with it comes a very Gizeh sounding break, something to resemble some of Rob Fabrie's older productions, and then it breaks off again on a brilliant bass sequence. How would I classify this? Uplifting, euphoric, yet dark tinged with a throbbing bassline and sweet synths; a brilliant closing track for the big trance DJs.

Upcoming on ATCR is Rapid Eye's "Circa Forever" release, as well as a re-release of Insigma's "Open Our Eyes"
